Postnatal support

You’ve done it, you’ve birthed your baby like the fierce warrior you are, now what? It’s such a surreal feeling coming to the realisation you have a tiny human to look after. Transitioning into parenthood is an incredible and magical (and knackering) experience. Having a postnatal doula to support you and act as your mini village can ensure that your healing and wellbeing isn’t left behind while you’re busy loving your newborn.

Postnatal hours

Settling In Package

Postnatal hours can be booked in 2 hour blocks at a time that suits you. The support can take the shape of whatever you feel you need most. Whether it be cuddling your baby so you can have that much needed bath/nap/slice of cake undisturbed, breast/chest feeding support, or simply just being a listening ear so you can feel safe and supported while sharing the highs and lows of being a new parent. There isn’t much a postnatal doula can’t do.

Postnatal hours are booked in 2 hour slots at a rate of £25 per hour. Mileage will not be charged for journeys within 20 miles of my home.

One of my favourite memories after giving birth was being tucked up in bed cuddling my new baby, breathing them in, while everyone was busying about downstairs making food and getting the house all cosy. I treasure those quiet, stress-free early days as I navigated being a new mother. With this in mind I have created a settling in postnatal package. Whether you decide to give birth at home, in a birth centre or hospital, I’ll meet you at your home when you’re ready. From there I can help you settle in to your dreamy newborn love bubble. I’ll cook you a tasty and comforting meal, run you a bath with aromatherapy oils of your choice, make your nest cosy before tucking you up in bed with your little. I’ll also be on call 24/7 for the week that follows to support you through any queries or concerns you may have, or signpost you to those that can.

Package price £200, £50 deposit required upon booking.

Night Doula

I provide overnight sleep support for families who feel they desperately need to catch up on some much needed sleep. I fully understand that sleep deprivation inhibits a person’s ability to be the parent they wish to be in the daytime. With your home environment and feeding goals in mind, I can provide tailored support throughout the night to ensure you get those much needed hours of rest so that you can be on top form the next day.

Night support is charged at a rate of £30 per hour.
